The Intake/Surrender and Adoption Coordinator is responsible

for the intake and adoption processes, including but not limited

to promoting, evaluating and assessing cats and dogs for intake, Home-to-Home Placement, application review, interviewing potential adopters, and using judgment to place the pet in the best, most appropriate home. Our Coordinator will also monitor and screen online and telephone adoption/release requests, be responsible for data entry duties related to intakes and adoptions, and conduct follow-up contact with adopters.

When our shelter is full, our coordinator keeps a list of those

who need to surrender their animals, and when a spot becomes available, she will set you up with an appointment to bring your animal in.
